Safety valve and flame adjustment according to the EN 125 standard
Complying with the European standard EN 125, the safety valve ensures the interruption of gas in the absence of flame
Apart from discharging the excess pressure in a system with water under pressure, the safety valve is likewise useful in gas systems to avoid any kind of leakages. In that instance, the optimal version to attain a safe control is the one controlled by thermocouple.
Every model of safety valve is designed and built to abide by the EN 125 standard, which governs the devices capable of implementing flame adjustment, essentially those that become alerted to the shutdown and accordingly interrupt the flow of gas.
The thermocouples available for installation on a safety valve are available up to a maximum length of 60 cm and are capable of ensuring application to the bulk of gas-consuming appliances. The choice of length must be such as not to create too acute angles in the path in order to avoid crushes and breakages.
Every safety valve is produced and especially tested at the Lumezzane plants. This is done to ensure perfect conformity with the reference standards, and even more so to make their use safe.
